🌿 Who We Are | Jing Shen Healing Arts

We're a father-daughter team practicing the medicine we love, in a place we feel lucky to call home.

Jing Shen Healing Arts is more than a clinic—it's a space we've created with intention, heart, and a profound respect for the classical roots of Chinese medicine. Our work is deeply grounded in Five Element Acupuncture, herbal medicine, and a tradition that's thousands of years old yet still deeply relevant to modern life.

We didn't set out to build a business.
We set out to offer care.
To listen deeply.
To sit with people in the hard places.
To restore rhythm, spark, and the simple joy of feeling well in your own body.

Over the years, our work has grown—through word of mouth, shared stories, and the quiet power of people returning to themselves. We've had the privilege of walking alongside patients of all ages and through every season of life:

  • new parents
  • veterans
  • weekend warriors
  • the deeply weary
  • those navigating grief, burnout, chronic illness, or simply the ache of feeling stuck

We believe in this medicine not just because we've studied it—
But because we've lived it.
It's shaped how we move through the world.
It's helped us heal.
It's helped us understand.
And every day, we get to offer that same experience to others.

✨ What is Jing Shen?

Jing Shen (精神) is a fundamental concept in Chinese medicine that speaks to the essence and spirit of a person—something deeper than symptoms, beyond the physical.

It's that spark behind the eyes.
That sense of presence, purpose, and wholeness that so many of us are searching for.

That's the heart of our work:
To help people reconnect to themselves.
To restore rhythm

✨ What We’re Offering

We’ve spent decades in treatment rooms—listening, witnessing, and walking beside people as they rediscover their health, their rhythm, and often, themselves.

Now, we're opening the doors a little wider.

Through these offerings, we're bringing the medicine we practice into a more accessible, embodied, and everyday conversation—beyond the treatment table, and into the places where real life happens: your kitchen, your relationships, your inner dialogue, your seasonal rituals, your family rhythms, your questions about purpose, and your quiet longing for a more connected life.

We're teaching what we know, from years of clinical practice and even more years of living inside this medicine ourselves. You'll learn the frameworks and philosophy of Classical Chinese Medicine and Five Element theory, not just as abstract ideas—but as tools for living well, asking better questions, and understanding how health is something we build, moment by moment, in relationship with ourselves and the world around us.

You don't have to be a practitioner.
You don't need to memorize point names or speak a new language.
Just bring your curiosity.

You just have to be willing to get curious—about your body, your symptoms, your patterns, your joy, and what it might mean to feel like yourself again.

This is where the clinical meets the personal.

Yes, you'll learn the structure—the seasons, the elements, the physiology, the herbs, the why behind the what. But more than that, you'll be invited to see your own life through a new lens. To understand why you get stuck in the same loops. Why your energy dips with the seasons. Why you haven't felt like yourself in a long time. And what to do about it.

This is medicine you can live. Not just study.

It's for people who want to support their families more holistically.
For those seeking tools that make sense of their experience.
For anyone who knows the language of the body is speaking—but isn't quite sure how to listen.

What we're offering is education—
But it's also an initiation.
Into a new way of seeing.
A new way of caring.
A new way of being in the world.

And we'd love to have you with us.

🌱 Who This Is For

This is for anyone who's curious.

Curious about their health, their rhythms, their patterns.
About feeling more like themselves again—
relaxed, connected,
and remembering what it's like to feel fully alive.

You don't need to know the language of Chinese medicine.
You just need a sense that something deeper is possible.

If you're looking for thoughtful support,
a gentler way to understand what you're feeling,
or tools to care for yourself and the people you love—

You're in the right place.
