We get it. Clicking into an educational platform and stumbling across a tea community... probably unexpected. Even if we were to disregard the beautiful space tea can hold in the ritual of life and how much there is actually to learn about tea, we cannot disregard that tea has become a part of our story. Nerdy Girl was born in our clinic and certainly has its roots in our medicine, brewed from the same hands and hearts that offer acupuncture and herbs, and steeped in the same spirit of curiosity that fuels everything else we do.

So yes, we're here to spill the tea—on blends, on healing, and on the often-unspoken stuff that can make life so rich, messy, and meaningful. Welcome to the home of the Nerdy Girl Tea Society. If you know, you know. If you don't know, here's a bit of our story.

Who We Are

Nerdy Girl Tea didn't start as a business. It started as seven cozy little blends on a clinic shelf— stuff we loved, sipped ourselves, and passed along to patients with a wink and a "just try it."

We're not tea sommeliers, we're practitioners of Classical Chinese Medicine— with decades of clinical experience and a bit of nerdy enthusiasm for life, healing, and the little moments that spark connection. We have a soft spot for the types of conversations that arise over a warm mug of our favorite blend. What started out as a quiet part of our apothecary has taken on a life of its own— an herbal side hustle turned tea uprising, shaped by questions, community excitement, and the joyful chaos of discovery.

Today, Nerdy Girl Tea has over 150 blends—and counting. Co-founded by Dr. Devynne and Dr. James, and sparked by Sara's early passion, reverent curiosity, and unapologetic love of learning, it's grown one blend, one question, one joy

Members get early sips of new releases, seasonal specials, and blends you won't find anywhere else— each one tied to the rhythm of ritual. Whether it's your morning steep or your evening unwind, these offerings are made to accompany the quiet, intentional moments that anchor your day.

2. Learning & Exploration

Tea curious? Come get nerdy with us. Whether you're learning the basics or feel like you're ready for your Tea PhD (wink), we've got something for you. Our classes and courses invite you to explore tea as ritual, as grounding, and as a joyful daily companion. If you're like us, you already know that a good steep can deepen your practices and brighten your day—one cup at a time.

3. Community & Conversation

More than just a cup—this is about connection. Inside our tea community, you'll find shared joy, honest chats, and the small magic of gathering around something warm and wonderful.
